Sports Wax Promotions – Code of Conduct & Event Safety Policy
At Sports Wax Promotions, we are committed to creating a safe, family-friendly, welcoming environment for collectors, vendors, guests, and attendees of all ages. Our events are built around community, respect, and a shared passion for the hobby.
By attending any Sports Wax Promotions event, all attendees, vendors, guests, and staff agree to follow the standards outlined below.
Respectful Conduct
All attendees are expected to treat others with respect and professionalism at all times. The following behaviors will not be tolerated:
Harassment, intimidation, threats, or bullying
Discriminatory or hateful behavior of any kind
Physical altercations or aggressive conduct
Disruptive, intoxicated, or unsafe behavior
Theft, fraud, or knowingly selling counterfeit items
Inappropriate conduct toward minors or families
Any conduct that negatively impacts the safety or experience of others
Sports Wax Promotions reserves the right to remove any individual from an event without refund for violations of this policy.
Family-Friendly Environment
Our events are designed to be welcoming for families, children, and collectors of all ages. We ask all attendees and vendors to help maintain a positive atmosphere throughout the venue.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to supervise minors at all times.
Vendor Expectations
All vendors are expected to operate honestly and professionally. Vendors may not:
Sell counterfeit, stolen, or prohibited items
Misrepresent products or authentication
Engage in abusive or inappropriate behavior toward attendees or staff
Conduct business in a way that creates safety concerns or disrupts the event
Failure to comply may result in removal from the event and/or restriction from future Sports Wax Promotions events.
Safety & Security Measures
Sports Wax Promotions works closely with venue staff, event security, and local law enforcement to help maintain a safe environment at our events.
Many of the venues we utilize throughout North Carolina operate under strict state and local laws regarding registered sex offenders and offender access restrictions involving public events and areas where minors are commonly present. We intentionally prioritize venues and event operations that support a safe, family-oriented environment.
Additionally:
Sheriff’s deputies and/or law enforcement personnel may be present on-site during events
Security monitoring may occur throughout the venue
Suspicious or unsafe behavior may be immediately reported to law enforcement
Compliance With Venue & Law Enforcement
All attendees and vendors must comply with:
Venue policies and regulations
Instructions from event staff and security personnel
Applicable local, state, and federal laws
Failure to comply may result in removal from the event and possible involvement of law enforcement.
Reporting Concerns
If you witness suspicious, unsafe, or inappropriate behavior during an event, please notify Sports Wax Promotions staff, venue security, or law enforcement immediately.
Right to Refuse Entry
Sports Wax Promotions reserves the right to refuse admission, remove individuals, or deny future participation at its sole discretion in order to protect the safety, integrity, and experience of the event.
